I’ve been married less than a year, and it’s already weird to be by myself for an extended period of time. I’m able to handle it better than my husband. He does not function well on his own, especially when he’s the one gone one a trip. He does better when he’s at home, because he basically cleans and fixes everything to distract him.
Personally, I just work. When I’m gone on my own, it’s usually a work trip. When he’s gone, I just do more work, either on my businesses or on my ministry. I’m one of those weird people that like challenges and want to work.
So right now, I’m purging and organizing my work lives. Here’s my goal list for the end of the year:
- clean out all emails (I have 6 including ministry)
- organize hard drives
- update asana to reflect year goals
- clean out voicemails and F
acebook messages - clean up office papers and scan
It’s a pretty hefty list. Thankful I have the week between Christmas and New Years off, so there’s a pretty good chance of making it.
What about you, what goals are you trying to make by the end of the year?
