So my extensive TBR list leaves me with a never ending supply of books, and of course that doesn’t stop me from buying more. So here’s the 5 books I think I’ll read next, pending something I like better doesn’t hit the list:
A Grimm Legacy: This is an ebook ARC that I recently got. I’ve always been a sucker for Grimm fairy tale spin offs, twists, and post-generation tellings, so I’m excited to get into this one. It’s the first in a series, which I always enjoy. Series let you get to know the characters better.
The Daughter of the Sea and Sky– This is another ebook ARC. I’m not exactly sure what to expect from this book, but the description intrigued me. It sounds like there is a little bit of a romeo and juliet twist, but I don’t know if it will be a big enough part of the book to matter.
Alienated– This one hooked me from the synopsis. A girl is chosen to be the first intergalactic exchange student. I started listening to it on audiobook from the library, but by the end of one chapter I had to return it and it now has a long waiting list. Luckily I was at a book expo that the author was at and picked up a signed copy. Looking forward to this read.
Messenger– Book 3 in The Giver quartet. I have some guesses how all the books tie together, so I’ll be interested to see if I’m right.
The Willoughbys– I must admit, even though I’m not supposed to, covers do play a deciding role for me in whether to buy it or not. At least when I’m wandering in a book store. This one had a fun cover, but it’s also by Lois Lowry, so I was going out on a limb that I would like it. All I really know is it has to do with orphans.
