This is a feature where I talk about bookish things (other than books) that I wish I owned.
Today we’re talking about BOOKSHELVES! Every bookish person needs them and they range from practical to just plain awesome. Here’s my picks for best shelves.
1. You may have seen the floating shelves, but did you know they came in a vertical option? I didn’t until I found them on amazon. Now you’re prettiest covers can be floating for all to see. You can check them out here.
2. Bookshelf Stairs: I’ve been drooling over these stairs for a long time. Whenever I’m in my forever home, I will totally be getting these put in.
3. United States Shelves: How fun would it be to store books in the state they are based in? It would be a game to try and fill each state completely!
4. Words: You can literally have a TBR shelf with this one.
5. Twisted bookshelf: This one seems very Alice in wonderland to me:
6. Hidden doorway bookshelves: Who hasn’t wanted a secret passage in their home? And this site shows you how to make one yourself!
7. The never too high bookshelf: You’ll be able to use even the top shelves and not ever worry about access to your books:
8. Rafter shelves: If you’re walls are covered, start using the ceiling
9. The Metamorphosis Bookshelf: For the outdoor lover, you can bring a piece of it inside. That is if you have lots and lots of money.
10. For the Geek, who wouldn’t want a TARDIS Bookshelf? Because then it really is bigger on the inside with all the worlds it holds.
