- Lion King- My sister and I finally got to see The Lion King on Broadway. It was great. I found myself enthralled by how they made all the animals life like, not to mention the amazing singers. There was even a jab at frozen that’s been added in. I would so go see this one again.
- Tea Tasting- There is a great tea shop in Cincinnati called Churchill’s Fine Teas and they do all these different tea tastings, so as a very late birthday present to my sister (her birthday’s in September) I took her to a Tea Tasting. We got to try a bunch, and I left with three new teas and a great understanding for how tea is made and how to make it.
- House Work- I am determined to get my house sorted through and in order before I move again. This month I made great progress. I got shelves up and work stuff boxed up and goodwill ready to go. Now if it will stop raining long enough for me to get it all to my car, it will look like I accomplished something.
- I turned 30– It wasn’t as scary as some people make it out to be. I think it makes me sound older, not that people believe I’m my age. My first day was pretty excellent though. We had a staff fun day at work planned where we went on a Segway tour of downtown Cincinnati. My boss brought in Graters Danishes for breakfast (yes, their pastries are as good as their ice cream.) Then we had lunch at Moerlein. I had dinner with the fam, who then took me to get a new ukulele since my last one was a a little over loved. So over all not a bad way to enter a new decade.
